I’ve watched an installation video of your Lambo doors on the Corvette Forum and I’m impressed! I’ve paid my deposit to get in line to place an order on a new C8 at Les Stanford Chevrolet in the Detroit area. I’m told that I’m guaranteed a car, but I’ll believe that when I actually place an order. Anyway, my question is how easy are the doors to open and lift from the inside of the car? In the video I watched it appears as though the installer swings the door open and lifts it from the back edge of the door, but what about when you’re in the car and the inside door handle is much closer to the front of the door? You really can’t lift the door from that position. I see there are gas struts, but I would imagine they don’t do much until the door is already moving upwards. Please advise.
Thanks,
Mike
From the seated position you will lift from the bottom of the door. Your hand is already there as you push the door open. its a very seamless and easy lifting process from the seated position.
