At Eikon Motorsports, every installation has its own story, and our recent trip to Reno, Nevada to install a V2 Series Vertical Door Kit on William Jamieson’s Arctic White C8 Stingray was no exception.
William chose our Arctic Edition V2 Series kit, and the combination couldn’t have been more fitting. The bright Arctic White paint paired perfectly with the clean lines and premium engineering of the V2 Series, creating an exotic appearance that looked as if it rolled straight off a concept car display.
Why William Chose the V2 Series
Like many Corvette owners, William spent a significant amount of time researching the available options before making a decision. After comparing the designs currently on the market, he ultimately selected the Eikon Motorsports V2 Series due to its engineering advantages, smooth operation, and proven reliability.
The V2 Series utilizes a sealed roller-ball bearing pivot system rather than traditional bushing-style pivots commonly found on older vertical door designs. This allows for exceptionally smooth movement while helping reduce wear over time.

A Perfect Match for the Arctic White Stingray
William’s C8 Stingray was already an incredible-looking vehicle before the installation began. The Arctic White paint, black accents, and aggressive body lines provided the perfect foundation for a vertical door conversion.
Once the V2 Series was installed and properly adjusted, the transformation was dramatic. The doors now rise high and stay tight to the body, creating a clean, factory-inspired appearance that complements the Corvette’s design rather than overpowering it.
From every angle, the finished product looked right at home on the C8 platform.
