Our history starts over 20 years ago in Davenport, IA. Our founder started a car club called Elite Concepts in the early 2000s. ECPerformance was created through various sponsors that offered the club exclusive pricing on parts. This was the start of what is now Eikon Motorsports™. Early in his creation of ECPerformance, he started selling lambo door kits by Vertical Doors Inc, quickly becoming one of the more popular items.

Then, in 2002, he opened up his first retail location and started installing the doors in the shop. Little did he know his future was about to change completely.

In early 2005, YouTube was created, and shortly after, he started posting videos of the installations he was doing. With the internet still being a pretty new and evolving thing, and now with a substantial public platform that just came out for videos, he saw the interest in people wanting him to do their installation.

Shortly after the interest in those wanting him, the manufacturer of the lambo door kits reached out and asked how he was able to do these installations so quickly by himself. One thing led to another, and within six months of that call, ECPerformance shut down all other product sales and services and focused on developing and growing his newfound installation company. Slowly, it grew and grew until it hit a point where he was never in his hometown. A place where he had a store location was now left vacant due to the beginning of his nationwide endeavor of installing this still relatively new product on the market.

Fast forward two decades, and we have become the world’s most experienced installation company, servicing the entire globe!

“Well, hey, hold up a minute. I feel like you left many events out during those 20 years”, you may ask.

You’re right; we left out when and why the name changed. And also, why are there various online sources with negative things to say about you?

The negativity is a blip in our very long and successful history due to a rocky and volatile relationship between us and our previous supplier of kits, “Vertical Doors Inc”. We decided to take our decades of experience in installing these and design a product that removes the complaints and flawed areas of the previous kits we were selling.

That transition was not expected or planned to take almost three years. There indeed were a few upset customers who did not know about our split from the previous supplier. Then there were the smear campaigns filled with lies, deceit, and egregiously false claims to try and hinder our progress and tarnish our reputation in hopes of eliminating the competition before they can even compete.

We thank them for the motivation to release a product that truly changes the aftermarket lambo door industry. We truly apologize to those customers who were upset about the delays.

All we continue to do is try to right the wrongs and perfect the design. We are and will always continue to improve our product/s and make changes as we see what is needed actually listen to our customers, and continue to make the necessary steps to give them what they are asking for.
